    SoftwareIf you are using BitTorrent on a Box behind a firewall/router (I mention router here as well as firewall as most routers have a firewall) and you do not set up your firewall properly you will get very slow downloads. Setting up your router properly can increase download speeds by over 20 times!

    Softwarewhen ximian evolution is installed, or if you go to a new version, the spell checker is not set up by default. To do this you have to do the below... OO on the otherhany requires 'apt-get install myspell-en-gb' or myspell package for your contery.

    SoftwareThe 1.1 release of openOffice.org is almost there. They are up to 'candadit release 5' whitch means they have got through 5 cycles of user testing. This means that is it probably as stable (if not more so) than MS orrafice. One of the great things for new users is you can set it up to behave just like word.
