LinuxIf you change your graphics card or put your hard disk in a PC with a different graphics card to get X working use 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg'. I used to do 'apt-get --purge remove xserver-xorg ; apt-get install ubuntu-desktop' but this is less drastic.

SoftwareIf you are using BitTorrent on a Box behind a firewall/router (I mention router here as well as firewall as most routers have a firewall) and you do not set up your firewall properly you will get very slow downloads. Setting up your router properly can increase download speeds by over 20 times!

Humor & StoriesThis is an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, State of Michigan. This guy's response is BRILLIANT, but read the State's letter before you get to the response letter. Basicaly he was being accused of building an unauthorised dam when in fact it was beavers.
